| Composition note | This is a short 1-minute composition in which I only used virtual instruments. This composition, arrangement, and mix is fully made by me. For the basic drum (kick, hihat) I used BDF3 (Fxpansion) while the percussion at the beginning is from Native Instruments (Action Strikes library), and the cymbals at the end are from East West (Symphonic orchestra library). The bass comes from Steinberg (Halion 6 library). The strings also come from East West (Action Strings library). The woodwinds (bassoon, horns, clarinet) and the brass (french horns, trumpets) lines are from East West (Symphonic Orchestra library). Finally, the vocals are from East West (Voices of Opera).
All was composed and mixed in Steinberg Cubase 10.5. Final mastering in SteinbergWavelab 10.0. Volume automation was mainly applied to the initial percussion to lower volume when the drums start, and to the woodwind and brass section which slowly increase in volume. For the two string parts I used a relatively slow (about 0.5Hz) autopanner. |
