De Tommies
Musical, Den Bosch, Theater aan de Parada,1994
Musical ‘De Tommies’, which played in Theater aan de Parade 50 years after the liberation [October 1994; second world war] was a tribute to the 53rd Welsh Division. In the 17 performances [21 October to 7 November 1994], during which 14,000 people attended the show, the life of the people of the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch was highlighted in the period shortly before and during the liberation of the city. New for these performances, directed by Edgar Danz, whose music was composed by [also conductor] Peter van Beijnum, were the projections and the two turntables of the Bosch Decor Collectief. 150-strong cast, orchestra group and dance group.
