Studio reorganization (Part 3): room calibration (Saterday, 24 April 2021)
As a final step in my studio reorganization I calibrated my room with the ARC3 system to improve the monitoring in my studio. It basically improves the frequency balance and stereo imaging in a room by flattening the frequency response of the monitors (Yamaha HS5/HS8).
I am really amazed how accurate this works. See the correction curve and the HS5 frequency response below:
