Time to Start (with Avid S1) (Friday, 11 June, 2021)
It has been a while since I work on Time to Start due to reorganization of my studio (here, here, here), problems with the Softube Console 1 Fader, installation of the Avid S1, and organizing a Reaper mixing tutorial for dummies.
With the Avid S1 I changed my setup to a large extend, but so far I am happy with it (see here for the details).
Nevertheless, I did more work on my new song Time to Start. I spend quite some time on getting the guitar parts (for which I used RealLPC and Amplitube 5 Max) to sound right but I never could get it like i wanted (both rhythmically and sound-wise). Moreover, the bridges and the hammond solo still lacked guitar parts. Therefore, I decided to ask a guitarist to record the guitar parts for me. This is now in progress.
