Tuning fork
I never owned one, I never needed one, and I still don’t need it but I bought a nickel-plated Wittner 922-440 tuning fork (A, 440Hz). The analog synthesizers that I own (Crumar Bit 99, Korg Poly 800) have to be tuned using a potentiometer. This required a guitar tuning device or tuning towards other instruments (usually the guitar) in a band. Also my Fender Rhodes is tuned, which was done by a professional company since it is not something I can do my self. However, the Rhodes will not go out of tune in the regular sense since it doesn’t contain strings as a normal piano (see here). With the digital synthesizers and keyboards it become much more easy since these were tuned to 440Hz by default and could easily be adjusted by entering a other frequency from the display.
