Below the first computers that I owned: Sinclair ZX 81(monochrome; started programming with BASIC), Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 64 (including tape recorder, the commodore disk drive (5 1/4 inch floppy disks) and a dot-matrix printer), and a IBM personal computer (started programming with Pascal and C). I never owned the Atari 1040ST but used it for several years at the local school of arts in Tilburg to run Cubase in their studio which also contained a Yamaha DX7 and two reel-to-reel tape recorders. After this initial period I have mainly be using Windows and Unix/Linux based computers, servers, and computer clusters programming in a variety of functional languages including Fortran, LISP, C, Perl, R, and Python. Never really mastered object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C++).
