Space: audio and visual (Saterday, 14 May 2022)
Space, the movie.
The latest assignment from Sound Education Nederland was about ‘audiovisual’. We were given a video without any sound and were asked to add sound effects (Foley) and/or (self composed) music to the first minute of the video. I did not compose the music myself but took two tracks from Two steps from hell. Sound effects were taken from a provided library and from libraries that I had floating around on my hard drive. Everything was done in Cubase Pro 11. Export from Cubase changed to colors of the video (not sure why). Everything was done at 48kHz (had to adjust my Behringer X32 for this).
