Trypoul Recording Studios (Tuesday, 7 December , 2021)
Today practical training about outboard gear for recording, mixing, and mastering. Together with Hans Molenaar. Organized by Sound Education Nederland. Dirk Joosten from Trypoul Recording Studios in Neerkant explained how to setup, for example, compressors, EQ, and reverb with an SSL 4000E desk. We also did some comparisons with the corresponding plugins in AVID Pro Tools (DAW).
Part of the equipment used by the different control rooms is located in a room one floor below the room with the SSL mixing desk (see photos).
Fantastic studio and location. In the not to far future I hope to do my first recording of a band in this studio……..
