Mixing Caroline in the Pines

I have been mixing Caroline in the Pines from Pretty Saro to determine how mixing on my Yamaha HS5/HS8 compares to mixing on my Sennheiser HD650 headphones (using Waves Nx Ocean Way Nahsville). Results of the mix are found [here].

I am also making some progress with my new song (which still hasn’t a name). The next step is to add lyrics and vocals. Hopefully within the next two weeks. I am also considering to have the bass played by a real bass player. The current bass line is what I have composed in Steinberg Dorico and then transferred as midi to Cubase. Guitar solo is played by Bas van Kampen. I am playing my Fender Rhodes and the Hammond XK5.
