Just updated the firmware of my Nord Stage 2 to version 3.00, and update its software (Sample editor, Sound Manager). Also update the firmware of the Behringer X32 digital mixer to version 4.02. I was also looking at some ancient photos from one of my earlier bands Intensive Care. Here is one:

This week i did some more work on another song that I composed for ReQatta. It’s name is ‘Ever mysterious’. We have a very rough version but we have to do some more shaping and to add the vocals (yes, we have lyrics). The organ and piano parts are play on the Nord Stage 2. The guitar part under the piano solo has to be replaced. Listen to its current state:

This morning I played my Hammond XK5 and practiced a new song from the Hammond Organ Complete book from Dave Limina. During the remainder of the day I practiced some songs from the band ReQatta that I recently joined. More about this band at a later stage. I also made a backing track for one of this songs (Waiting in Line) with help of Band in a Box 2020 and Steinberg Cubase 10.5 Pro. I added my piano part and some strings (using Steinberg Halion 6/Symphonic Orchestra ; HSO). No vocals yet but these will be added at a later stage. While doing this also tried to solve a technical issue with HSO within Cubase. Not yet successful, but will return to this later.

I am also still looking for an affordable Hammond SKX (on Marktplaats) but so far without success. Want to use it with ReQatta. I just need two manuals, various sounds, and….. something that is not too heavy.
